(2/16/2006): No matter how long life keeps you down, you still can get back up. I have started updating the archive, with charts added for January 23 through March 6, 2005. Additional weeks' charts will be added chronologically as time permits, and the front page chart will be brought current, and thence kept current, once the archive is completed.
New reviews should begin appearing sometime soon, as well...
I would like to offer my personal gratitude to those who have kept in touch over this long stretch, even if it was just to say "Hey, you still there? You ever coming back?" Knowing that this means that much to other music fans out there really makes all the difference, and gives me the motivation to stay with it, and to come back and drag the whole thing back to life after all this time. I know how disappointed I can be when I rely on other online charts and they just stop, or disappear, never to return.
(9/08/2004): College Air has begun working with Media Guide in order to publish a college radio chart based on real-time electronically-monitored airplay.
For those new to the site: The College Air top 20 chart is the most definitive ranking of songs being played on college radio, non-commercial radio, and select commercial stations, commercial specialty shows and Internet broadcasters. This is today's true "alternative" rock.
Visit the College Air Review Archive for previous album and concert reviews and artist interviews.
Have something to say? A question or comment? Feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sign up form for the weekly newsletter. Have each week's chart, along with commentary and lists of up-and-coming hits and deeper album cuts, delivered to you by eMail each week.
(2-16-2005): There is currently no newsletter, and has not been for quite some time, so don't expect to start receiving it if you sign up, or have done so in the past year. It may be resumed at some point, but I can't be sure right now. However, the mailing list will be used to announce updates, such as a notification when the archives are up-to-date and the current chart is actually current again. Your eMail address is NEVER given out, to anybody or for any reason!!
